In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 4, 2018 No. 697 "On the opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of San Francisco (United States of America), the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of San Francisco (California) provides consular services to citizens Kazakhstan and the United States from January 3, 2019. The Consulate General promotes mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and 18 states on the west coast of the USA and provides necessary support to all interested companies and individuals who want to make a contact with their potential partners in Kazakhstan to develop joint economic, cultural and humanitarian projects. The consular district of the Consulate General consists of following states: Alaska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Montana, Oregon, California, Nebraska, South Dakota, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
